Corporate Litigation and Emerging Legal Challenges Workshop

The School of Law at IMS Unison University, Dehradun, hosted an insightful session on “Corporate Litigation and Emerging Legal Challenges” with Dr. Rajesh Satya Sehgal, Chief Legal Officer at Adani Energy. The session aimed to connect academic learning with real-world corporate law issues in India. 

Dr. Sehgal, an experienced legal professional, discussed key topics such as land laws, corporate litigation, environmental law, and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), using real-world case studies to illustrate the role of legal practitioners in ensuring corporate compliance and ethics. He encouraged students to build strong skills in legal research, drafting, analytical reasoning, and professional ethics, emphasizing the importance of resilience and curiosity in navigating the corporate legal landscape. 

The session featured an engaging Q&A segment, and concluded with a felicitation ceremony attended by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Anil SubbaRao Paila and Prof. (Dr.) Amit Adlakha. The event reaffirmed IMS Unison University’s commitment to experiential learning, preparing students to be competent and ethical leaders in the legal field.
