Dr Stuti Saxena, Assistant Professor (Sr. Scale), School of Liberal Arts conducted a session today on the “Use of Mendeley Software in Research". She explained the utility of software in doing literature review while writing research papers. Mendeley is a widely used software for undertaking Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs) and is a potent tool for comprehending the way theory building happens in research papers, it enables the researcher(s) to use the extant knowledge to present their arguments. Using this software, a researcher can make notes, highlight, or use different citation styles as per requirement. It was an insightful session and a great learning experience for all the faculty members who attended it.
