Faculty Seminar and Paper Presentation organised by SOMC

In an informative session for the faculty members of the School of Mass Communication, a Faculty Seminar and Paper Presentation was conducted on August 5. The resource person was Ms. Sakshi Tiwari, Assistant Professor, SOMC. The topic of the seminar was " A Study to Analyse the Perception of Indian Youth about the Credibility of Mainstream Media." 

The seminar aimed to study and analyze the present perception of mainstream media at a time when media is suffering a credibility crisis.

The rank of India in the World Freedom Index 2020, Alternate Media, the sensationalization of news, Paid news, biased news, Fake news were few of the topics discussed in the presentation.

Overall, the seminar was enriching for the faculty members who are pursuing their Ph.D. from various universities in India.
