Guest Lecture by Mr. Kushla Nand, Editor, Dainik Jagran, Dehradun

A special guest lecture by Mr. Kushla Nand, Editor, Dainik Jagran, Dehradun was organized by the School of Mass Communication on November 25, 2019. Mr. Kushla Nand has previously worked as an Editor for the Hindi newspaper Amar Ujala and has a very long experience of around 30 years in various media organizations. In his interactive address, he spoke about Communication as a tool for the masses, the importance of choosing the correct medium for communication and the role of print media in society. He further illustrated the different roles in a print media organization including the work of an Editor,  Sub-Editor, Reporter and Cameraman. The lecture then concluded with a question and answer session, where Mr Kushla Nand patiently answered each and every question. Overall, it was an informative session for students and faculties alike.
