Interactive Webinar on News Selection & News Reporting conducted at SOMC

An interactive webinar on News Selection & News Reporting was conducted by the School of Mass Communication. Esteemed media person and special correspondent with United News of India, (UNI), Mr. Janardan Misra, was the resource person for the webinar.

In his discussion with the students, Mr. Janardan Misra spoke about the process of selecting news to be broadcast and printed and how journalism is changing every day. He highlighted how news reporting is evolving and how the trending news changes with the reporting. He encouraged students to learn the concepts of journalism and implementing these when they join the media industry. The webinar then proceeded with a Q&A session followed by the vote of thanks. Overall, it was an enriching and interactive session for all.
