    NATIONAL YOUTH WEEK

    Swami Vivekananda's birthday on January 12 th, is always celebrated as National Youth Day and the week commencing from that day is known as the National Youth Week. It is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of youth icon Swami Vivekananda. The Youth Week focuses on cultural aspects and several other programmes covering a wide variety of activities for youths, which not only reflect the spirit of friendship but also peace and development.


     As a part of activities for National Youth Week being observed by SoHM, on 12/1/2021, a student team coordinated, special interview with Swami Asimatmananda of Ramakrishna Mission, Ashram, Kishanpur, Dehradun for his motivational insights to youths.

     

    The interview clip prepared by students, was presented in special session of NATIONAL YOUTH WEEK 2021 on 13/1/2021 along with screening of film on life of Swami Vivekananda to give inspirational insights to the young minds of SoHM.
