SOMC Students Act in an Ad Film on ‘Cyber Crime’ for the Uttarakhand Government

The students of School of Mass Communication (SOMC) got an opportunity to act and be a part of an Ad film on 'Cyber Crime' made for the Uttarakhand Government. The ad is scripted, directed and shot by famous director, writer and producer Mr. Dilip Sood. The shooting for the ad took place in the premises of IMS Unison University. The activity familiarized the students of SOMC with the processes involved in production and acting and also provided them with practical exposure to the ad world. The intent of involving students in the shoot was to help them hone the skills necessary for production. Mr. Sood expressed gratitude to the University for granting permission to shoot in its campus and appreciated the students of SOMC for their dedicated efforts. He said he will be looking forward to collaborating with SOMC for his future projects and internship opportunities.

Mr. Dilip Sood is a renowned director of many critically acclaimed films like Summer of 99, Chhe6, Chhodo Na Yaar, Apni To Pathshala and Beach. He has worked with Vidhu Vinod Chopra in ‘1942: A Love Story'.
