Social Outreach Program

To embrace the occasion of our 76^th Independence Day, the Social Responsibility and Community Engagement cell of IMS Unison University organized an event ‘Swatantrata Gatha with Bal Shakti’ on 15th August 2022 at Government Upper Primary School, Malsi, Dehradun.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Sushant Singh Bora, Councilor (Parshad) Malsi, Mr. Kulesth, Ranger-Malsi Forest Division, Dehradun. The event took continued smoothly under the tutelage of Prof. Amit Adlakha, Dean-School of Management (IUU) other faculty-members viz. Dr. Ankita, Dwivedi, Ms. Ziya Batul Rizvi, Dr. Nishant Dublish, Mr. Rishabh Tripathi, Mr. Nishant Chaturvedi, and our students, i.e., our social change makers. The event was also celebrated with the presence of Officials from the State Forest Department. The event included various performances of our students, i.e., our social change makers from our varsity’s School of Management and a special quiz on ‘Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ was conducted to gauge the awareness levels of young and dynamic children of I to VIII standard at the school.

This was followed by an exuberating skit performed by our social change makers to commemorate the Indian Freedom Struggle and depict the true essence of Unity in Diversity. A noble act of Tree Plantation was also done by social change makers.

The event turned out to be a grand success with the collaborative efforts of all members of the cell and was concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Garima, University Coordinator (SRCE Cell) followed by the distribution of sweets among the teachers and children of the school.
