Today on International Women’s Day (08^th March 2021), IMS Unisom University in collaboration with IIM-Kashipur organized a ‘Women Entrepreneurship Awareness & Capacity Building Program’ for girl students. The two renowned and successful young women entrepreneurs Ms. Divya Rawat- The Mushroom Lady and Ms. Pooja Kaul, founder of Organiko-Beautifying Life, addressed the session and shared their motivating entrepreneurial journey and the success mantra for setting up and leading a blooming business. Ms. Divya Rawat has been honoured with Nari Shakti Samman Award by the President of India. She is the Brand Ambassador at Government of Uattrakhand. Ms. Pooja Kaul is among the Young Entrepreneurs of the Forbes 30 under 30 Asia 2020. She has been awarded with the Diana Award 2020. The speakers shared their start-up insights, the challenges they faced during their continued journey, and the ways to effectively tackle such challenges and lead the business in such a competitive market environment. Overall, around 50 girl students became part of the inspirational session and learned about varied significant elements such as implementing creative thinking in the business, efficiently managing finance, utilizing social media platforms for business growth, and exploring various other business prospects. The session indeed awakened the potential entrepreneur hidden in them.
