6th edition of National Youth Parliament Competition “Rashtraniti”-2020 Day-1
6th edition of National Youth Parliament i.e. “Rashtraniti”-2020 was organized by School of Law, in all its glory on 3rd of the February, 2020.
The Chief Guest of Inaugural Ceremony was Mr. Sunil Gayaprasad Mishra, Director, Central India Institute of Mass Communication, Nagpur.
The day one of the exuberant event, commenced with the registration of the participants and provided special kits to the participants.
The event started with the lamp lighting ceremony followed by the Saraswati Vandana. The inaugural ceremony was then followed by the floral felicitation of the Chief Guest, Mr. Sunil Gayaprasad Mishra, Director, Central India Institute of Mass Communication.
Prof. (Dr.) Ram Niwas Sharma, Dean, School of Law enlightened the gathering with his words of wisdom & the welcome address. He expressed his gratitude to the Chief Guest for adding lustre to the event.
Mr. Nikunj Singh Yadav, Faculty Convenor, “Rashtraniti”-2020 gave the overview & many insights regarding the event.
Prof. (Dr.) Ravikesh Srivastava, Pro Vice Chancellor, IUU by extending his heartening welcome to the honorable Chief Guest and also extended his greetings to all the participants who have come from the Universities/Institutes of all over country.
The Chief Guest Shri Sunil Gayaprasad Mishra, enlightened the gathering with his 16-years of experience as the Director at Central Institute of Mass Communication & also shedding light on the facts and information related to the Naxals and how does it affect the nearby societies, their economy and how the growth is affected.
All the dignitaries and the Chief Guest showed us a path towards how we can work in a democratic society, how can we present our views in a mannered way. The message of “Respond not reply” was the highlight.
The President of Student Committee, Mr. Madhur Khera, declared the opening of the “Rashtraniti 2020”.
Vote of Thanks was delivered by Ms. Arnisha Ashraf, Faculty Co-Convenor of “Rashtraniti”-2020. The programme was conducted by Student Kanjani Sharma & Chetali Jugran. A group photo was organized to mark a cheerful and a memorable beginning of the “Rashtraneeti 2020”.
