Hostel & Transport

IMS Unison University provides separate on-campus hostels for boys and girls, meticulously designed to ensure both safety and comfort. These hostels are equipped with round-the-clock security and follow stringent safety procedures. The living quarters are designed for comfort, offering a homely environment that students enjoy. In addition to convenient access to library and computer facilities, the hostels are furnished with various amenities, including televisions, table-tennis tables, water filters and coolers, coffee vending machines, and washing machines, ensuring a well-rounded living experience.
For ease of transportation, the University operates a fleet of buses that travel across the city. This service is available for the convenience of both students and staff, facilitating easy and safe travel to and from the campus.

The hostel at IMS Unison University is designed to be a home away from home for our students. It is expected that all residents maintain an atmosphere of complete harmony, brotherhood, and camaraderie. This spirit of unity and mutual respect is integral to fostering a supportive and congenial living environment.

  • Admission to the hostel at IMS Unison University is granted on a first-come, first-served basis, as managed by the University Academic Cell. Each hostel seat is allotted for a single academic year. Requests for any changes in hostel rooms must receive prior approval from the University Academic Cell. After the academic year, which is either the 30th of June or the last day of the end-term examination (whichever comes first), students are required to vacate their hostel rooms along with all their belongings.
  • Allotment of hostel seats for subsequent academic years is based on a combination of merit, attendance, and availability. It is important to note that hostel room/seat assignments may change from year to year by University Policy.
  • For admission to the hostel, nominating a local guardian is mandatory. This guardian must be readily accessible to the Hostel Authorities for contact in emergencies.
  • Upon allocation of a hostel seat, students must obtain their Hostel ID cards. These ID cards should be carried at all times to verify identity when required. Please be aware that if a student fails to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in their program (cumulative for that particular academic year up to the cutoff date decided by the University), or in cases of withdrawal from admission, expulsion from the University, or non-payment of any University dues, the hostel seat will be automatically forfeited. Under these conditions, the student will not be entitled to any refund of proportionate fees.
