India is aiming to improve its position in the world innovation index, year by year. This gave a far and wide scope for every institute of higher learning across the nation. At our IMS Unison University, dedicated efforts were made by the Research and innovation cell to establish an ecosystem of research, innovation and knowledge creation. This cell motivates the faculty, research scholars and students to take up interdisciplinary research work. We believe that the students’ curiosity and critical thinking skills should be properly tapped to address real world challenges.

As the Dean – Research and Innovation, efforts were put to increase industry institute collaboration, encourage students towards entrepreneurship, guide the students to incubate their start-ups. Further, students are provided ample opportunities to get trained in funding opportunities, intellectual property protection etc which will guide them seamlessly from innovative ideas to their implementation.

Our vision is to transform IMS Unison University into a hub of research excellence such that the premier institutes both locally and globally might show interest in collaborating with us in the near future.

With a prolific academic career, he has secured numerous grants from various funding agencies to support his research endeavors. He has published over 50 research papers in esteemed international journals and conferences. His research interests include spanning Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Electrical Machines, soft computing and VLSI design. He is a life-time member of several prestigious professional organizations, including the Institution of Engineers (India) (MIE), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), and the International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT).
