Fresher’s Day 2024: Welcoming the Newest Members

IMS Unison University hosted Fresher’s Day 2024 with great enthusiasm, marking the official welcome of the incoming batch through a lively and engaging three-day celebration held in October. Organized by the individual schools, the event created a warm and festive atmosphere, encouraging new students to feel right at home.

The celebrations featured a dynamic blend of cultural performances, interactive games, and a vibrant fashion show, where students showcased their talents and personalities. The highlight of the festivities was the crowning of Mr. & Ms. Fresher, along with special recognitions such as Mr. & Ms. Spark, celebrating the spirit, confidence, and charisma of the new entrants.

More than just a party, Fresher’s Day is designed to foster friendship, confidence, and connection between freshers and seniors. It sets the tone for an inclusive, energetic university experience, laying the foundation for meaningful bonds and lasting memories as students begin their academic journey at IMS Unison University.

ETHNIC DAY

To synergise diversity, enhance inclusion and celebrate unity in diversity, “Sanskriti”- the Cultural Club of IUU under the office of Dean Student Affairs, hosted the event “Ethnic Day” in the university on 19 Feb 2025.

The theme of this event was based on the essence of ‘Anekta Mein Ekta’ an initiative by the Government of India that aims to enhance interaction and promote mutual understanding of culture amongst students from different states.

IMS Unison University is rich in student diversity. The students here are from different parts of the country. All Students, faculty and staff were attired in ethnic wear. Cultural presentations on the theme were put up at the Centre Plaza of the University, wherein students performed dances and delivered speeches and poems on the beauty of Indian diversity with unity.

The finale to the event was the Ethnic wear walk at the Centre Plaza with the title winner for Best Ethnic Attire (Girl) and Best Ethnic Attire (Boy).
