Dr. Anitha Ramachander is an accomplished academic leader with 30 years of experience in management education, institution building, and strategic academic development. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Marketing from Karnatak University and has played a pivotal role in leading business schools and higher education institutions in India and abroad.

Throughout her career, Dr. Ramachander has focused on academic excellence, outcome-based education, and employability enhancement. She has introduced innovative learning environments such as business labs and industry readiness platforms like the EDGE Clinic, ensuring students gain corporate exposure and real-world competencies. Her unique holistic learning philosophy emphasizes growth at individual, organizational, social, and transcendental levels. She has successfully guided accreditation and quality assurance initiatives, strengthened global collaborations through impactful MoUs, and launched international programs while ensuring compliance with global education standards. Under her leadership, AIMIT earned a Top 10 Business School ranking in Bangalore by Business Today (2017), and at Amity Mauritius and IHM Australia, she led major academic and strategic advancements. A published author and columnist, Dr. Ramachander contributes to leading newspapers including Deccan Herald. She has written books, numerous research papers, and frequently speaks at national and international forums. Her contributions have earned prestigious accolades such as the International Achievers’ Award for Education Excellence, Outstanding Women Achievers’ Award, SIWAA Outstanding Educator Award, and the Paul Harris Fellowship of Rotary International. Dr. Ramachander remains deeply committed to empowering students, advancing women’s education, and driving innovation to shape the future of higher learning.
