A Guest Lecture by Dainik Jagran Editor Mr Kushla Nand

A special guest lecture by Mr. Kushla Nand, Editor, Dainik Jagran, Dehradun, was organized by the School of Mass Communication (SOMC) on September 27, 2018. Mr. Kushla Nand has previously worked as an Editor for the Hindi newspaper Amar Ujala. He has a work experience of around 30 years in various media organizations. In his informative address, he spoke about the various career options available for the students of Mass Communication. He also emphasized that the students should develop a perspective on world events so as to cultivate a nose for news. The lecture then concluded with an interactive session which was a great learning experience for everyone.
