Releasing of IMS Law Review (Student Edition)

IMS Law Review (Student Edition) is a novel step in the field of scholarship, taken by the School of Law, IMS Unison University. It is a proud moment for the School of Law to be releasing the Journal within one year of the conception of the idea. The first edition of IMS Law Review (Student Edition) was released on 22nd August 2020 by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor.

The annual Journal is a unique initiative to provide a platform to the law students across the country, to get their research work published and appreciated. We at the School of Law recognize the talent reservoir of the students, and always aim to preserve, polish and enhance that talent. With IMS Law Review (Student Edition) becoming a reality from a mere seed of an idea, we hope that more and more students will be able to present their exceptional scholarly works to the world.

The first issue of the Journal is a product of the hard work and dedication of the student editorial team, entirely composed of the students of School of Law, IMS Unison University, Dehradun. The student editors thoroughly sort out the best articles, essays and case comments and make sure to include quality content in the Journal. The faculty editorial board consisting of Dean School of Law, Prof. Ram Niwas Sharma (Chief Editor), Ms. Shalini Saxena (Editor) and Ms. Sakshee Sharma (Associate Editor), constantly guided the students in this process. The edited articles were finally reviewed by our esteemed Faculty Advisory Panel for the final approval.

The entire student editorial team and the faculty editorial board is thankful to our respected Vice Chancellor, Prof. Gautam Sinha to have placed his immense faith in this venture and made our efforts come true. Last but not the least, we thank our contributors, without whose contribution in the form of articles, essays and case comments, IMS Law Review (Student Edition) would not have transformed into a reality.
