Mr Devradi, the guest speaker introduced himself and presented a humorous speech.

The first day of the workshop came to an end eventually with various activities such as voice modulating, use of property and space and emotions. The purpose was to create a foundation about theatre work and performances that was theoretical and practical for the students of School of Liberal Arts. The day was successful and joyous as everyone cooperated with each other, made friends, and learned something new and different

The second day commenced with a warm welcome of the chief guest Mr Nand Kishor Hatwal who is a renowned folk artist, writer, poet and teacher. He's contributed greatly to the folk and cultural literature of Uttarakhand. He gave a lovely speech to the seated audience of students and teachers, basically giving everyone a gist of what the folk and culture of Uttarakhand are.

Later, the team divided the students into three groups keeping in mind what interests them such as the folk music/dance group, skit group and creative writing group. Every group was given an individual teacher from the theatre team to teach them about that specific art form. The students were given different tasks and based on that the team members were evaluating their work and giving them tips and tricks on how to improve their art.

On the 3rd day the workshop started with the lecture of an interesting person Prof.Kailashnath Kanwar who is a professor of mass communication. As a profession he is a photographer, but his passion is acting.

Our next lecture is taken by premdevraj ji who is renowned as the cultural artist. He talked more about FOLK MUSIC AND ART. He convinced everyone that folk is everywhere.

Then we had a exercise regarding how our body changes according to time and space. Then we did a special garhwali tribe exercise MANDAAN (pandava nrtya).

Then we had a small recap of yesterday’s session.

Then we started our cultural activities, starting with the emotional drama followed by some funny conversations, storytelling, and poems. At last, we had a joyful garhwali dance.

With all these wonderful activities and performances, the three-day Theatre workshop came to an end successfully.
