Workshop on "Teas and Tisanes" at the School of Hospitality Management

Mini -Workshop on "Teas and Tisanes" (herbal teas) was conducted on 22/11/19  at the School of Hospitality Management by internal resource: Mr Amit Tariyal. The workshop had initial theoretical session on Introduction, History of Tea, Manufacturing process of CTC (cut, tear and curl)Tea ,Tisane, Herbal, flavoured tea along with White tea, Yellow tea, Green tea, Oolong tea, Black tea and Puerh tea.

 

Second part of the workshop was  Practical session of making of various types of tea including Green tea, Oolong tea, black tea (Assam tea , Darjeeling tea), flavored tea - tulsi jasmine, earl grey etc., herbal tea - lemon tea, chamomile. etc.
