  • Prof. Gurdip Singh
    Professor & Chancellor

    Experience: 44 years
    Prof. Gurdip Singh is a distinguished academician having over 44 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience in the prestigious university – The University of Delhi. He held the position of Head and Dean, Faculty of Law from 2010 to 2013. He also served Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow as Vice-Chancellor. Under his Stewardship, the University achieved new heights of excellence in teaching and research. He has been nominated as a member of the Governing Bodies and General Councils of several Universities and Institutions. He has also been an Expert Member of various UGC Committees. Prof. Gurdip Singh has been a recipient of several prestigious fellowships in India. He has also been a proud recipient of several international fellowships like the Doctoral Fellowship at The Hague Academy of International Law, The Hague; International Humanitarian Law, International Committee of Red Cross, Geneva; International Negotiation Process, Salzburg, Austria; and U.N. Fellow, International Law Commission, Geneva. He was also awarded the "National Law Day Award - 2013" on November 30, 2013, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, in recognition of the pivotal role played by him in improving the standards of legal education in India. The Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla, has honoured Prof. Gurdip Singh by appointing him Distinguished Professor of the University.

    Dr. Verma worked as Professor and Associate Dean, School of Law and Justice, Adamas University, Kolkata. Worked as Associate Professor of Law, at School of Law, University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Dehradun. Headed, Department of Law and Social Sciences, School of Law, University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun. He has successfully completed one-week Industry Attachment with Central Electricity Regulatory Commission, New Delhi. Completed a project on Gender Budgeting, for the government of Uttarakhand. Invited as resource person, to various seminars, conferences, workshops, and Faculty Development Programs. Industry trainer and academic resource person; Invited for training sessions of industry professionals from HPCL, IOCL and other reputed organizations to deliver lectures on Energy Laws. Expert in dispute resolution and a Trained Mediator through international training. He has been a Member of UPES Societal Interventions Team during 2017 to 2021; and worked for the capability development of prison inmates of Dehradun central jail, by trainings and library enrichment, to facilitate rehabilitation after completion of sentence, as a part of University Societal Interventions.
  • Dr. Shalini Saxena

    Dr. Shalini Saxena is an Assistant Professor Selection- Grade in School of Law, IMS Unison University. She possesses 16 years 4 month of rich experience in the field of teaching and research. Dr. Saxena has to her credit a total of five research papers with publications in, two in UGC Care listed journals and three in Scopus indexed journals and also published more than 20 research papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals and in the conference proceeding. She has also attended, presented papers, and chaired technical sessions in national and international seminars organized by prestigious institutions. Her three chapters were published in edited books. She has attended workshops and FDPs in her areas of teaching and research to further enhance her skill and invited as resource person in Faculty Development Programs, with an A+ grade, she completed two refresher courses offered by UGCHRDC. She has successfully conducted National Moot Court Competitions, National Seminars, Youth Parliament and Faculty Development Programs as a convener. Dr. Shalini is a lifetime member of the All-India Law Teachers Congress. She is a member of various committees of the University. She is an Editor of IMS Law Review Student Edition. Her teaching interests include Criminal Law, Administrative and Constitutional Laws, Procedural and Personal Laws.
  • Dr. Satish Kumar Mishra

    Experience: 16 Years
    Dr. Satish Kumar Mishra is a distinguished academician having more than 16 years of teaching experience in the prestigious universities/colleges. Previously he has worked as principal in Shri Mahaveer Ji Law College Sitapur. Dr Mishra has completed his Ph.D. from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi in 2014 and cleared NET in 2012. He is a gold medallist in LL.M. from T.D. College Jaunpur. He is very much comfortable in many subject of law i.e. Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Procedural Law, ADR, Mercantile law, Civil Law, Criminal Law, Family Law and Labour law. He has participated 6 national and 3 national seminar and he has published his 6 article in reputed law journals. He was departmental legal aid head and chief proctor of Shri Mahaveer Ji Law College Sitapur.
  • Dr Ashwani Kumar Dwivedi

    Experience: 12+ Years
    Dr. Ashwani Kumar Dwivedi has done his Ph.D. From the Department of Law, Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar on the topic “Social Security Legislations and Schemes for the aged persons: with special reference to Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007”. He was awarded UGC-NET & JRF in 2012. He has more than 12 years rich teaching experience and his area of interest is Administrative Law, Law of Torts and Property Law. Six LLM Dissertations dealing with different areas of Law have been supervised by him. He has uploaded more than 100 lectures in various aspects of law on YouTube. He has published 8 research papers in journals as well as in edited book too and also presented many papers in seminars and conferences. He has attended workshops, seminars and Faculty Development programs to further enhance his skill and He was also invited as a resource person in faculty development programs.
  • Dr. Shoaib Mohammad

    Experience: 11 years
    Dr Shoaib Mohammad is an Assistant Professor in the School of Law at IMS Unison University. He has rich teaching and research experience in the field of law. He holds a master’s degree in law with a specialization in Administrative Law and Law of Torts. He obtained his Ph.D. encompassing the Liability of Medical Profession in India from Kumaun University. He is UGC-NET, JRF & USET qualified and has attended more than 35 International & National Conferences, workshops, FDPs on Law, and interdisciplinary subjects. Dr Shoaib is actively involved in research; he has published 10 Research Papers in journals of repute and conference proceedings. He is also the founder Editor of Pragyaan: Journal of Law and has been a Member of the Board of Research and Board of Studies at the University.

    Dr Arti Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the school of law at IMS Unison University, Dehradun. She has completed her bachelor’s degree in Law from the Department of Law, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. She has completed her master’s degree in Law from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. She has cleared her UGC NET (Law) and completed her Ph.D. from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Her area of interest is the civil procedure code, the law of contract, the law of torts and drafting, pleading, and conveyancing. She has published a national and international research paper on the topic of lok Adalat.

Apart from academician Dr. Pandey has searved as an Legal Consultant in Ascent Group of Industries, New Delhi and as an Assistant Law Officer at Shri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences, Indore. During his academic carrier he has organised one National Moot Court Competition, one National Trial Advocacy Competition and One National Model United Nations at Amity University Rajasthan.     Dr. Munish has done his Ph.D. from the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow (A Central University) in Law. He is UGC NET Qualified. For the last 5 years, he worked as a Faculty of Law at Department of Law, School of Legal Studies, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow. The subjects he taught were Jurisprudence, Law of Torts, Interpretation of Statutes and Constitutional Law. Currently, he is writing a book on his research topic.
  • Dr. Vivek Shukla

    Dr. Vivek Shukla is an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) in the School of Law at IMS Unison University, Dehradun. He has been awarded Ph.D. degree from Banaras Hindu University and his specialization is IPR. He has qualified UGC NET conducted by UGC. His teaching interests include IPR, Law of Contract, Law of Tort and Penology. He possesses more than 4 years of teaching experience. He is also having 3 years of experience as an Advocate. He has 12 research papers in UGC Care list journals, UGC listed journals and peer reviewed journals. He has attended, participated and presented papers in 12 National Seminars and 8 International seminars. He has also attended two Faculty Development Programs, two orientation course, one symposium and two workshops on research methodology.
  • Dr. Udai Pratap Singh

    Dr. Udai Pratap Singh is an Assistant Professor (Sr. Scale) in School of Law, IMS Unison University, Dehradun. He has done his doctorate from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow in the area of International Law. He has a Masters in Law (LLM) with dual specialization in IPRs and Corporate Law from Indian Law Institute, New Delhi. He did his BALLB(Hons.) from RMLNLU, Lucknow. His areas of interest include International Law, Human Rights, Humanitarian Law, International Trade Law, Legal Research Methodology, and Constitutional Law. He has been a UGC NET & JRF awardee. While working with Amity Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (AIALS), Noida, he has supervised many LLM dissertations on human rights, corporate laws and constitutional law. He has presented and authored numerous papers on the theme of use of force under international law. Prior to IMS Unison, he has worked at AIALS, Amity University, Noida, and SGT University in Gurugram.

He also holds a Graduation degree in Microbiology from Kurukshetra University. Mr. Yadav has 10 years of rich experience in academics. During this period, he held many important positions associated with college administration. His areas of interest include Constitutional Law and Labour Laws. He has 5 publications in national and international journals of repute and delivered lectures in several reputed institutions. He has presented papers in national and international seminars and conferences. He remains actively involved in the conduct of National Moot Court Competitions, National Seminars, and National Youth Parliament.

    Ayush Kaushik is an Assistant Professor (adjunct Faculty) in the School of Law at IMS Unison University, Dehradun. He is currently practicing criminal law in the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts. He has done his LLM from the Queen Mary University of London in Criminal Justice and LLB from Symbiosis Law School, Noida. He has previously worked with the OHCHR (Office of High Commissioner Human Rights), United Nations in Geneva. He has judged various prestigious moot court competitions and remains active in Youth Parliaments, debates, and Seminars.
