The 12th IUU National Moot Court Competition 2025 at the School of Law, IMS Unison University, commenced with an inspiring inaugural ceremony featuring Prof. (Dr.) V. K. Ahuja, Director of the Indian Law Institute. His address on research, ethics, and advocacy set a positive tone for the event. The Pro-Vice Chancellor and Dean of the School of Law emphasized the importance of rigorous legal training.
Day 1 included the Preliminary Rounds and Quarter Finals, where teams from across India presented arguments on topics such as arbitrator appointment, Force Majeure, and key provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act of 1996. After intense exchanges, four teams advanced to the Semi-Finals. The day concluded with a vibrant cultural evening that celebrated talent and camaraderie.
Day 2 featured the Semi-Finals and a compelling Grand Finale between Law Centre 2, University of Delhi, and Amity Law College, Kolkata. Participants showcased their strong command of arbitration law and procedural intricacies.
The Valedictory Ceremony, graced by Ambassador (Retd.) Dr. Aftab Seth, honoured the winning teams, Best Speakers, and recipients of the Memorial Awards.
The competition concluded on a high note, reaffirming the University's commitment to nurturing skilled, ethical, and future-ready legal professionals.
