77th International Human Rights Day

IMS Unison University commemorated the 77th International Human Rights Day on December 10, 2025, under the United Nations theme, “Human Rights: Our Everyday Essentials.” The event featured distinguished addresses from Justice Subhash Chand, Former Judge of the Allahabad and Jharkhand High Courts, and Prof. Harish Chaudhary, Professor Emeritus at IIT Delhi. Their insights set a scholarly tone for the day, emphasizing the vital role of legal and ethical frameworks in modern society.

A central highlight was a panel discussion on the delicate balance between national security and individual liberties, which prompted a sophisticated exchange on contemporary legal challenges. The observance concluded with a Human Rights Quiz and Poster-Making Competition organized by the School of Law. With enthusiastic participation from all departments, the event successfully blended academic rigor with creative expression, reinforcing the university's commitment to global justice and human dignity.
