A Faculty Seminar and Paper Presentation

In an informative experience for the faculty members of School of Mass Communication, IUU, a Faculty Seminar and Paper Presentation was conducted on September 30, 2019. The resource person was Seema Shukla, Assistant Professor, SOMC. The topic of the seminar was 'Portrayal of Sexual Violence in Online Media'.

The aim of the seminar was to apprise the faculty members about the different types of sexual violence and how online media is misrepresenting such cases against women. Topics such as online news outlets and the response of college students about various aspects of sexual violence against women were also discussed. Overall, it was an informative seminar for faculty members who are pursuing Ph.D. from various national institutions.
