Guest Lecture on Fundamental Rights under the Constitution of India

The School of Law, IMS Unison University, organized a Guest Lecture on “Fundamental Rights under the Constitution of India” on 19th September 2025, delivered by Dr. Rajesh Dube, Associate Professor of Law, DAV Law College, Dehradun.

The session provided students with a comprehensive understanding of Articles 14, 19, and 21, exploring their evolution, scope, and interpretation by the Indian judiciary. Dr. Dube discussed landmark judgments, constitutional principles, and recent case laws to highlight how these rights safeguard dignity, liberty, and equality in Indian democracy.

The lecture was highly interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions and raising thought-provoking questions. Real-life examples, case studies, and judicial interpretations made the session both informative and intellectually stimulating.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, acknowledging Dr. Dube’s valuable insights and the enthusiastic participation of students. The lecture significantly enriched their academic experience and deepened their understanding of constitutional law and its contemporary relevance.
