IMS Unison University, Dehradun, in collaboration with the National HRD Network (NHRDN), proudly launched its NHRDN Student Chapter through an e-meet on Saturday, 27th September 2025. This marks the 60th NHRDN Student Chapter in India and the first in Uttarakhand, representing a significant milestone in strengthening industry–academia collaboration.
The initiative was conceptualized by Dr. Anil Subbarao Paila, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, IMS Unison University, under the leadership of Mr. Prem Singh, Group CHRO, JK Organisation & National President, NHRDN. The launch was graced by eminent dignitaries, including Prof. T. V. Rao (Founding President, NHRDN), Dr. C. Jayakumar (Incoming National President, EVP & CHRO, L&T Ltd), Mr. Anand Khot (National Secretary, NHRDN), Mr. Agnivesh Thakur (National Treasurer, NHRDN), and Mr. Altaf Hussain (President, NHRDN Uttarakhand Chapter).
The NHRDN Student Chapter at IUU will operate on the principle of “for the students, by the students” and will provide students with opportunities to participate in mentorship programs, workshops, leadership summits, HR best practice sessions, certification programs, and national NHRDN events. The launch also featured the announcement of the Dr. Udai Pareek Memorial Fund, aimed at promoting research in Human Resource Development.
Dignitaries emphasized the importance of preparing future-ready HR professionals equipped with leadership, ethics, agility, and digital competencies to meet the demands of today’s dynamic business world.
Expressing gratitude, Dr. Priyanka Chopra, Coordinator of the NHRDN Student Chapter at IUU, extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to NHRDN leadership, dignitaries, faculty, and students. She highlighted that over 150 student members had been eagerly awaiting the launch, which now opens new horizons of learning, networking, and professional growth through mentorship opportunities with the Young Talent Council.
This landmark collaboration reinforces IMS Unison University’s commitment to offering students world-class exposure and industry-driven learning opportunities.
