    Inaugural Ceremony of "2nd National Client Counseling Competition"

    The 2nd National Client Counseling Competition of IMS Unison University proceeded apace, in all its grandiosity. The inauguration was preceded by Chief Guest, Honorable Smt. Seema Jaunsari ,Director Academic Research and Training , Uttarakhand.

     

    The exuberant day began with the registration of the participants and distribution of the kits.

     

    The inaugural ceremony commenced with the welcome address by Dr.Saroj Bohra, Head of Department, School of Law, who expressed her gratitude to the Chief Guest for adding luster to the event by her presence, and also extended her greetings to all the participants.She further admonished the gathering with an overview of the competition and further apprised the importance of technique, logic, analytical skills and the conceptualization of client counseling sessions in the life of a budding advocate.  

     

    Professor Gurdip Singh, Chancellor, further enlightened the afternoon by his exhilarating words of wisdom.

     

    Honorable Chief Guest Smt. Seema Jaunsari ,Director Academic Research And Training Uttarakhand in her adrenalizing declamation sighted the necessity of value driven ethical advocacy practices, morality, the need for speedy trials of suits, and raised concern towards the various backdrops in government services.

     

    Ms. Aditi Singh, Faculty Co-Convener, National Client Counseling Competition, School Of Law, concluded the inaugural ceremony with the vote of thanks.

     

    The zealous day began with Draw of lots for the preliminary rounds the commencement of the preliminary rounds (1 & 2) where the 19 participating team sprang into action with the clients and judges keeping the teams on their heels. The teams showed extreme vigor and determination as they faced the challenging and crafty problems. After the exuberant first rounds the judges enlisted their respective markings.

     

    The Quarter Final endorsed the teams in full action, as they advanced with skillful advocacy and precisely contrived arguments. The participants were well versed and answered the arduous question with utmost sincerity and meticulousness. The impressive articulation of the participants left the judges in admiration as they evaluated their performance.The very dynamic first day of the event ended with an indelible cultural evening.

     

    The 19 teams, participating in the competition are Symbiosis Law School, Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Sobbavaram, AP, School of Excellence in Law, Tamil Nadu, IFIM Law School, Tamil Nadu National Law University, Christ University, UPES School Of Law, Dehradun, Veer Narmada South Gujarat University, Surat, M.S Ramiah College Of Law, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh among others.
