Industry Visit to Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

As part of its ongoing effort to strengthen collaboration between industry and academia, MBA students from IMS Unison University visited Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited, India’s leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) in the pharmaceutical sector. 

The visit provided students with valuable insights into operational dynamics, manufacturing excellence, and quality assurance systems that contribute to success in the pharmaceutical industry. Students gained firsthand experience in supply chain management, process optimization, regulatory compliance, and strategic management practices, allowing them to connect their theoretical learning with real-world industrial applications. 

An interactive session with industry experts offered a deeper understanding of leadership, innovation, and sustainability within large-scale operations. This experience not only enhanced the students' practical knowledge but also inspired them to pursue excellence in managerial roles across various sectors.
