Literary Club Organizes Short Film Screening

In an endeavour to encourage awareness about various cinematic efforts of independent filmmakers, a short film was screened by The Literary Club of School of Mass Communication on September 22, 2018. The film titled 'Infinite Space' has been directed by Siddharth Chauhan, an internationally renowned avant-garde filmmaker. He was awarded the ‘Youth Achiever’ award by the Hindustan Times Group in 2014. The musical drama depicts the life of a monk who stumbles upon the secrets of infinity. The film was selected to compete at the IDSFFK 2015 International Film Festival of Kerala and was also selected by the University of Manchester UK for their Insight Film Curation Scheme 2015. The film screening was the second such event organised by The Literary Club of School of Mass Communication. 

The Club had earlier conducted an intra-departmental debate competition on September 1 in which the students had participated in large numbers.
