National Constitution Day – SoL

The School of Law celebrated Constitution Day 2025 with a dignified ceremony that began with the National Song and a collective reading of the Preamble, reaffirming core constitutional values.

Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon'ble Member of Parliament and former Union Minister for Law and Justice, joined the event as the Chief Guest via virtual platform. He offered insightful reflections on the vision of the Constituent Assembly, the nation's digital transformation, and the enduring importance of Article 32.

Shri Ram Singh Meena, a member of the Uttarakhand State Human Rights Commission, emphasized the responsibility of future legal professionals to uphold and protect constitutional principles.

A symbolic highlight of the event was the presentation of a replica of the original handwritten Constitution to the School of Law Library, underscoring the institution's commitment to constitutional scholarship.

The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, honouring India's democratic spirit and constitutional legacy.
