The World Pizza Day, celebrated on 9th February each year, is essentially a celebration of pizza and its journey. Pizza lovers and popular pizzerias have been celebrating this day since 2000.
The School of Hospitality Management celebrated National Pizza Day (of America) by hosting special demonstration and practice practical session for hospitality students and hobbyists on various popular Pizzas, including origin, evolution of Pizzas, preparation of various types of Pizzas, secrets of the dough, the expertise of the pizza sauce and their eating methods.
School of hospitality management flapped six different varieties of pizzas namely Pizza ai funghi e pepe (Mushroom and Pepper pizza),Pizza con salsiccia piccante (spicy sausage pizza),Classic Pizza Margherita, Pizza al pollo alla griglia (Grilled chicken pizza), Chicken tikka pizza, Paneer tikka pizza.
