As a pre - Lamhe festivities, various events were organized at SOHM on it's activity day. In the morning session students from different schools of University participated in paratha making competition. The team comprising of two students prepared innovative and creative parathas that were displayed along with classical accompaniments. Winning recipe was “Pindi Egg Parantha” with egg, cheese and loads of desi ghee, Ashish Rajvanshi (BBA) and Gautam Khandelwal (BBA), cooked the paratha to perfection and served with mint chutney. First runners up were team of Mahima (B.com) and Priya (BBA) who made “DESI PARANTHA” stuffed with paneer and veggies along with tangy chutney. Second runner up were Sakshi and Paridhi of (BBA) they made open faced pizza paratha with Mozzarella, peppers and veggies served with tomato chutney, they named their parantha “Ajab Gajab”. A consolation prize was awarded to Team of international students at IMS Unison University from Tanzania, Jane Delis, Howard Nindi, Irene Exson, Moussa who also participated enthusiastically in the event.
The competition was graced by Prof. Gurdip Singh, Honourable Chancellor and Dr Swati Bisht , Dean -Career services as an eminent culinary Judges.
