SOMC Conducts a Faculty Seminar and Paper Presentation

In an enriching experience for the faculty members of School of Mass Communication, a Faculty Seminar and Paper Presentation was conducted on August 30. The resource person was Varsha Sisodia, Assistant Professor, SOMC. The topic of the seminar was "Online Information Privacy and Communication  Behaviour of Internet Consumers in India.”

The aim of the seminar was to create awareness on privacy issues and privacy threats lurking on the Internet.  and their implications on the citizens. Diverse topics such as customization of the Internet, cyber crime, privacy literacy and need for stringent privacy legislation were discussed. The seminar was helpful for faculty members who are pursuing Ph.D from various national institutions.
