THE FRESHER’S PARTY (PG), 2019

The Fresher’s Party for the students of all the Postgraduate programs of IMS Unison University, Dehradun was organised today in Seminar Hall, 5 th Floor, Vedanta, DIT Campus on 6th September, 2019. Girls in designer dresses and boys in sophisticated waistcoats turned up in large numbers to immerse themselves in the festivity and splendor put forth by their loving seniors.

 

The dignitaries present on the occasion were the Chancellor,Dr. Gurdip Singh Bahri; the Vice Chancellor, Dr Gautam Sinha; the Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ravikesh Srivastava; the Registrar, Col Pranav Kumar; the Dean, Student Affairs, Dr. K. Ajay Singh; Deans and Heads of various schools and other distinguished faculty members. During the inaugural, the dignitaries ignited the lamp and gave students their blessings. They shared their words of wisdom with the freshers which shall facilitate their smooth journey with the university.

The ceremony witnessed numerous dazzling and thunderous performances by both the seniors and juniors alike. The major highlight of the program was Mr and Miss Fresher Contest. The first year students, dressed elegantly in arresting dresses walked down the ramp with poise and élan. The party came alive with everyone dancing and rejoicing in happiness to the enthralling tunes and beats of the DJ.

 

The Dean, Student Affairs congratulated the senior students for putting up a spectacular event characterized by grandeur and fun. 

 

The following students were crowned with the respective titles:

Mr.  & Ms. Talented – Abhishek Batra (MBA) and Saloni Gupta (MBA)

Mr. Handsome – Aditya Pandey (MBA)

Ms. Energetic – Megha Gupta (MJMC)

Mr. Punctual- Sandeep Prasad (LLM)

Ms. Confident –  Kritika Tiwari (MBA)
