Valedictory Session Report

 

The conclusion of the two-day international e-conference organized by the IMS Unison University in collaboration with the North American Society for Marketing Education India (NASMEI) and National Agricultural Bank for Rural Development (NABARD) has been marked with a vivacious valedictory ceremony during which dignitaries from international institutions of repute expressed their appreciation for having been overwhelmed by the concoction of ideas and research-based views of the participants pertaining to the theme of the e-conference.

 

Dr. Himanshu Mahobia, Conference Secretary delivered a welcome note to all the dignitaries including the luminaries abroad who were attending the valedictory session using virtual platform and whole-heartedly thanked all the participants of the international e-conference for having been actively involved in contributing towards enhancing the pool of knowledge pertaining to the theme of the international e-conference.

 

The chief guest of the valedictory session Prof. Justin Paul, Professor – University of PR, St. Juan, PR (USA) shared his valuable information on academic journals of global repute and stalwartly delivered on the Do’s’ and Don’ts’ while Developing Research Papers. He elucidated on the necessities that groom an academician into an ethics-driven and value-enhancing researcher. He shared his views by virtue of his experiences highlighting the availability of free-hand that an academician acquires in order to pursue and excel in the large arena of research and development. He outlined a few important factors like following generalized approach, roadmap of how the paper is going to flow, originality of the study, plagiarism checks, uniqueness and novelty of the topic, citations from target journals grammatically correct manuscript followed by implementing suggested changes to ascertain the legitimacy of the research paper.

 

The guest-of-honour for the valedictory session Prof. James F. Jordan, Heinz College - Carnegle Mellon University, Pittsburg (USA) shared his eclectic views on ‘The Digital Transformation of Healthcare’. He outlined on the impeccable role of artificial intelligence in digitizing the real-time health-care system. He emphasized on the vision of digitization as the outcomes that could be achieved by amalgamation of access and quality while deducting the total cost incurred during the digitization process. Further, he highlighted that the health system is a historic amalgamation of players, each with their own incentives and motivation. He concluded his remarks stating that digitization of the health care management system is a never-ending journey of continuous improvement.

 

Prof. (Dr.) Kalyani Rangarajan, Conference Chair expressed her heartfelt gratitude and summarized all the activities spread across two days of the international e-conference giving due credits to the key-note speakers, chairs, coordinators and presenters of all of the twelve technical sessions.

 

Prof. (Dr.) Gautam Sinha was enchanted with the insightful contents shared during the conference and was highly appreciative towards the consolidated efforts of all members and presenters who made the conference a success and the accomplishment earned by the university’s School of Management. Also, he also acknowledged the role of the presenters in providing relevant answers to the prominent questions concerning the vast arena of digital marketing. He heartily thanked all 163 authors spread across the globe who submitted 65 papers for twelve technical sessions.

 

Dr. Shalini Singh, Organising Secretary of the international e-conference proffered a vote-of-thanks to the honourable Chairman-BOG of Unison Group Sh. Amit Aggarwal ji, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Gautam Sinha, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ravikesh Srivastava, Col. Pranav Kumar (Retd.), Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) Kalyani Rangarajan, Conference Chair and Dean-School of Management, Prof. (Dr.) Amit Adlakha, Conference Co-chair for their gracious presence and unceasing support throughout the international e-conference. Dr. Singh also thanked all committee-members who worked collectively to make the conference a grand success in spite of the limitations posed by the prevalence of the ghastly pandemic situation.
