The wine appreciation training session was conducted at the School of Hospitality Management by Mr. Mukesh Kumar, Manager Tastings & Marketing from the Sula Vineyards Pvt. Ltd- Nashik, to provide an in-depth knowledge and learning about different types of wines, and their characteristics including white, red and sparkling wine.
Three categories of wine were presented as per their characteristic, taste, color and body. The students learnt the nuances of wine appreciation and pairing them with specific food. The session also covered the fine details of storing, handling and service of different categories of wines.
