Workshop on Food entrepreneurship at SOHM

The School of Hospitality Management organized the Open Workshop on “Food Business Entrepreneurship” on 15th January 2019 for hospitality and management stream students. The objective of this Workshop was to sensitize and motivate the budding professionals for the spirit of entrepreneurship. Dr. Don Davis, Owner/Operator –Taste of America, life skills coach and Prof. Vinay Kumar Nangia, Dean SoM were the experts for the workshop that included the sessions on understanding the Food Business, Preparing Business Plan and arranging finances and important aspects of successfully running a food business. The workshop was attended by MBA program students from DIT University, IMS Unison University and hospitality students of SoHM. Prof. Gurdip Singh, Chancellor, IMS Unison University exhorted the students to learn the nuances of entrepreneurship through these application based workshops for a secure future.
