IUU Organised North East Carnival

The North East carnival was celebrated today at IMS Unison University with lot of zeal and enthusiasm. Shri. L Fanai, IAS, Secretary Social Welfare and Director General (Industries), Government of Uttarakhand was the chief guest for the occasion.


The students from the North Eastern State studying at IMS Unison University put up a magnificent display of cultural performances of their respective states, dressed up in their traditional attire. Shri. L Fanai (Chief Guest) was deeply impressed by the performances of the students and whole heartedly appreciated their efforts. He urged the students to work hard and make the best use of available time to carve over a wonderful career for themselves.


Professor Ravikesh Shrivastava, Pro Vice Chancellor, IMS Unison University also appreciated the student performances and extended his best wishes. The seminar hall was completely in the north-eastern fervor during the Carnival.


The following students adjudged the title winners:-


1. Award for the best performance- Nikita Mangsatabam (Manipur)

2. Award for the best Attire-Cooler Thoudam (Manipur).

3. Award for the best Walk and Talk-Ngamjai Wangsacha (Arunachal Pradesh)


The School of Hospitality Management conducted a workshop on ‘Dining Etiquettes’ for the North Eastern students studying in IMS Unison University and DIT University. Thereafter, a special lunch comprising North East food items was served in the Boys and Girls Hostels. This made the day a truly memorable and special one.
